The new firmware update WebOS version 1.3.1 for Palm Pre has been released and its now available to download. this update has some features such as enable browser cookies when backup, backup no longer saves online account passwords, Yahoo! now appears as a Calendar/ Contacts/ instant messaging synchronization account, Message forwarding, Ability to select a ringtone for new message alerts, Widescreen videos now display in wide screen mode by default instead of being cropped and many more
