Recently Google has released Google Latitude for Iphone and iPod touch as a web-based application running in Safari browser, this apps lets you see where your friends are on a map with your phone, you can modify your privacy settings so that you control how your location is shared and with whom, Google Latitude  currently supports iPhone and iPod Touch with OS 3.0 or above.

For now, it’s available in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, more countries are coming soon, according to Google.To Get Google Latitude you just need to type google.com/latitude into your iPhone’s browser
